How To Enable/Disable On Screen Navigation Keys In Any Rom

       Most Of The Rom Provided On The Internet Are Having Soft Navigation Keys Enabled As Default And You Must Be Wanting To Remove Them As We Don't Need Them Caz Canvas Nitro Already Has Hardware Buttons On The Device....

So For Removing Them.....You Can Perform Changes ....

>>>Before Flashing The Rom From PC
>>>After Flashing The Rom From Device

Procedure From PC Method :-




1. Extract The Custom Rom Which You Have Downloaded For Your Device Anywhere On System
2.Go To The Directory Where You Have Extracted The Rom Zip File
3.There You Will Need To Open The System Folder
4.In The System Folder U Will Find a Build.prop File
5.You Need To Edit The Build.prop File And For Editing It You Need Notepad++ Software
  Which You Can Download From Here (3.9Mb)
6.After Opening It From Notepad++ You Will See Code Lines
7.Search For qemu.hw.mainkeys=0 Or You Can Simply Find It By Pressing Ctrl+F
8.If You Found That Line Then You Need To Change It From

                                                        qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
                                                                     TO
                                                        qemu.hw.mainkeys=1

And Then Press Ctrl+S To Save It Directly Or You Can Go To File And Press Save it...

And You Are Done !!!

But If You Have Flashed It Already And Now You Wanna Remove Them Then Follow The Method Given Below....

Procedure For Device Method :-      

1.First Of All Your Device Must Be Rooted And If Its Not Then You Can Follow My Simple One Click Method Of Rooting Your Device For That Read My Rooting Post By Clicking Here
2.Then You Need To Install Root Explorer App Which You Can Get From Play Store
3.Open Root Explorer And Grant The App Root Permissions
4.Convert R/O To R/W
5.Go To The Root Directory
6.Open The System Folder
7.There You Will See Build.prop File
8.Click And Hold The File And Then Open It With Text Editor
9.Search For The Text Line qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
10.If You Got That Line Then You Need To Change It From

                                                        qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
                                                                     TO
                                                        qemu.hw.mainkeys=1

11.Now Open The Option Menu And Select Save Changes
12.Now Open The Option Menu Again Select Save And Exit

And Then Simply Reboot Your Device ....
